Cyber Growth Academy Refund Policy
1. 7-day refund window
Participants may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
2. If you have signed up for a cohort based learning, once the cohort starts (no change-of-mind refunds), the following additional condition applies.
After the 7-day window ends, or once the Cyber Growth Launchpad cohort has commenced, refunds are not available for change of mind, including (but not limited to):
- Scheduling conflicts or time constraints
- Personal circumstances or workload changes
- Non-attendance of live calls
- Not completing tasks, labs, or assignments
- Deciding the program is “not a fit”
This is because a cohort program involves capacity planning and the allocation of coaching / support that cannot be “returned.”
3. Payment plans
If a participant enrolls via a payment plan:
- The 7-day refund window applies from the date of the first payment, provided the request is also received before the cohort start date / time (whichever occurs first).
- After the refund window ends or once the cohort commences, payments are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- If a payment is missed, access to the program (including live calls and materials) may be paused or revoked until the account is brought up to date.
4. One-time cohort transfer (optional leniency)
If a participant is unable to continue after the cohort has started, the provider may offer a one-time transfer into a future Cyber Growth Launchpad cohort (subject to availability), provided that:
- The request is made in writing, and
- The transfer is used within 12 months of the original cohort start date, and
the participant is not in arrears on a payment plan (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
A transfer is offered in lieu of a refund and may not be exchanged for cash.
5. Provider cancellation or major changes
If the provider cancels the cohort and cannot provide a reasonable alternative (such as rescheduling or transfer to another cohort), participants will receive a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled program.
If a major change is made that materially reduces what was advertised (e.g., removal of core components), the provider will offer a fair remedy, which may include rescheduling, substitution, credit, or refund (as appropriate).
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights a participant may have under Australian Consumer Law. Participants may be entitled to a remedy if services are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for a purpose that was made known, or are not provided within a reasonable time.
7. How to request a refund or transfer
All requests must be made in writing to [email protected] and include:
- Participant's full name
- Email used for purchase
- Cohort name / start date
- The request (refund or transfer) and the reason (briefly)
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
